My manuscript is at 33,943 words.

It blows my mind that I have actually gotten this far. I’ve set a target for myself of 50k for the first book, and I am WELL on my way to it at this point. Which means that, once it’s done, I’ve edited it like NO OTHER, and I’ve sorted out some cover art and design elements, I am going to have a book. This is a huge deal for me. I have been writing since I was really little, but nothing I’ve ever done (with the exception of a fluffy fantasy piece I wrote in middle school) can compare. I’ve worked through a massive, MASSIVE writers block, and after many, many false starts with the premise I am currently working with, I have produced something coherent.

When it’s done and edited, I will be publishing this through Amazon, both in print and for Kindle. I’ll probably have to do quite a bit of marketing if I want it to get noticed by anyone important, and I am praying it is actually worth getting noticed by anyone important.

But guys. If there is anyone here who likes the little things I’ve said about the story so far, wants to read an unconventional take on werewolves, or just wants to support a new author, PLEASE watch this space. I can’t tell you how incredible it’s going to feel to see people who aren’t related to me/ my friends buying it.
